Jazz FM Presents Jazz Rock n Raise
The much-loved Rock n Raise musical fundraiser is back, and this year we're giving it a jazz makeover

We are delighted to have joined forces with The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation to present Jazz Rock n Raise at Newcastle's Wylam Brewery on Wednesday 12th April.
Rock n Raise has become a firm favourite in the calendar with performances from some of the biggest names in music, including Sting, The Kaiser Chiefs, and Duran Duran's Andy Taylor.
But this year's Jazz Rock n Raise promises to be even more spectacular with an unforgettable night of funk and jazz performances, including special guest Bluey, from the jazz-funk band Incognito, with hits from 'Always There' to 'Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing', backed by jazz-funk group Groovetrain.
However, the musical talent doesn't stop there! Groovetrain will be joined by some of the biggest guest performers in the North East, including Sam Fender's saxophonist, Johnny 'Blue Hat' Davis, Liam Fender, Hairy Biker Si King and M People's Shovell, all hosted by our very own Jazz FM presenter and award-winning jazz singer, Ian Shaw.
But, Jazz Rock n Raise is more than just a night of great music - 100% of proceeds raised will go directly to local charities, including Teenage Cancer Trust and Cash for Kids.
