Black Minds Matter UK founded one year ago against the backdrop of the global pandemic and the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement which shone a light on the necessity for adequate mental health support for the Black Community in the UK.

One year on they have managed to fundraise for over 1500 , 12 week courses of free therapy for Black people in the UK and are working hard to ensure they can continue to create a lasting impact on Black mental health.

Soraya Stuart hosts an hour on the work of the charity, why it is so needed and how people can continue to support the BMMUK mission.
