A stonking 33 bands have been announced for 2000trees Festival 2019 today (9th January).

Leading the charge are You Me At Six, While She Sleeps, Every Time I Die (performing 'Hot Damn!' in full plus the hits), Frank Iero and the Future Violents, Therapy? and Jamie Lenman, who will headline a stage on the Thursday (11th July), taking over the whole day as ‘Lenmania 2’.

Also confirmed are Estrons, Indoor Pets, Comeback Kid, Cavetown, Hands Like Houses, Martha, Puppy, Muncie Girls, Single Mothers, Møl, Higher Power, Gouge Away, Loathe, Nervus, Orchards, Imperial Leisure, Groundculture, The Drew Thompson Foundation, Heavy Lungs, Indigo Lo, Lice, Spielbergs, Sundshine Frisbee Laserbeam, Phoxjaw, Frauds and False Advertising.

Enthusing about their headline slot, You Me At Six said: "We're really looking forward to headlining 2000trees Festival this summer.

"We’ve heard many amazing things about the festival, in particular it’s unrivalled atmosphere and location. The line-up is always superb, so it's going to be a pleasure to be a part of things this year. It's going to be a special show."

Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley comments: "'Hot Damn! has always been the one that put us on people’s radars and it was the one that was out the first time we came to the UK, so that’s a nice little throwback.

"When festivals are able to do something like this and get such a diverse lineup and secure a venue outdoors, it feels like something big. When you’re going to one of these as a fan of music and your whole surroundings feel so much larger than life it makes you want to enjoy the music. It makes you really open to hearing new bands. You’re going to need these festivals, whether it’s to feed a fanbase or to make one. So I think it’s extremely important for the scene."

2000trees takes place at Upcote Farm in the stunning Cotswold Hills from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th July 2019. Tickets are available from the official 2000trees website.
