Architects cancel Download Festival slot due to family emergency
All their mainland Europe festival dates this summer have been axed too.
Architects have cancelled their upcoming June festival shows due to a family emergency.
The Brighton metalcore quintet's European schedule this month included A Zippo Encore Stage set at Download Festival on Saturday (11th June) together with festivals in Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, France, Belgium and Germany.
The band’s reps said in an official statement: “Due to a family emergency Architects are forced to cancel the rest of their European festival tour for June.
“They hate to let you guys down and would appreciate all of your understanding and support. The band would like to ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
