AWOLNATION founder and frontman Aaron Bruno has performed exclusively for Kerrang! Radio’s Lockdown Sessions series.
Recorded at his home in sunny California, Aaron Bruno has laid down a stripped-back version of AWOLNATION’s recent Rivers Cuomo collaboration ‘Pacific Coast Highway in the Movies’ just for us.
Introducing the performance, Aaron says: “I want to play a song called ‘Pacific Coast Highway in the Movies’ off my new record ‘Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders’.
“This song features Rivers Cuomo of Weezer but he’s not here. I wish Sally (Aaron’s pet dog) could sing for him but she’s not in the mood as you can tell!”

Featuring the towering single ‘The Best’, which has been on Kerrang! Radio’s playlist for several months, AWOLNATION’s fourth studio album ‘Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders’ was released on Friday 24th April.
Earlier this month, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale recorded five tracks for Kerrang! Radio’s Lockdown Sessions, including an epic cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’.
Kerrang! Radio’s Lockdown Sessions series kicked off on Easter Saturday (11th April) when we broadcast live performances from a number of artists on air.
