A further four bands have been added to the Bloodstock Open Air 2020 line-up at Catton Park next August.

Taking to the Ronnie James Dio main stage on the Friday are Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, who will be performing a ‘A Vulgar Display of Pantera’ set to the Bloodstock faithful.

Halifax’s premier gothic metal export, Paradise Lost, will play the main stage on Saturday 7th August and they’ll be performing their 1995 tour-de-force ‘Draconian Times’ in its unadulterated entirety.

A further two acts will rock the main stage on the Sunday.

First up are Brooklyn alt-metallers Life of Agony, who unleashed their brand new studio album ‘The Sound Of Scars’ earlier this month, which serves as a follow-up to their seminal 1993 debut ‘River Runs Red’.

Completing this wave of announcements are influential New Wave of British Heavy Metal torchbearers Diamond Head. Cited by thrash legends Metallica and Megadeth as an influence, Diamond Head will prove exactly why they’re so revered when they take to the main stage on the Sunday.

The new additions join an already mightily impressive Bloodstock Open Air 2020 line-up that boasts Friday headliner Devin Townsend (his only UK show of the year) plus Jinjer, Gloryhammer, Skindred, Black Dahlia Murder, Vio-lence, Sacred Reich, Dark Tranquillity, and Butcher Babies.

Celebrating its 20th year, Bloodstock Open Air takes place at Catton Park in Walton-Upon Trent in Derbyshire from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th August 2020.

Tickets are on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now.
