Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor has shed more light on the departure of Pinocchio masked percussionist Chris Fehn.

Maggots across the world were left in shock yesterday (18th March) when it was announced that Chris Fehn was “no longer a part” of Slipknot.

Slipknot explained in their strongly worded statement: “Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot.

“We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life.”

Last week, The Blast reported that Chris Fehn was suing Slipknot over alleged unpaid money, which caused Corey Taylor to tweet at the time: “You’re gonna read a lot of bulls--- today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.”

Yesterday, a fan on Twitter suggested that Slipknot recruit Anders Colsefini as Fehn’s replacement promoting Corey to reply: “I would LOVE that.”

When another fan suggested it would be a bad move, Corey tweeted back: “You think that’s d---ish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it.”
