Former Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge has unveiled details of a new book he’s penned on UFOs and extra-terrestrials.

The musician and aliens aficionado has spent years investigating the UFO phenomenon and on Tuesday 7th March we’ll get to see the first fruits of his labour via the book ‘Sekret Machines: Gods’.

Co-penned by occult expert Peter Lavenda, the non-fiction book is based on interviews with intelligence officers, scientists, engineers and military officials.

According to the press blurb promoting the tome, it will take readers on ‘an eye-opening investigative journey to the heart of the UFO phenomenon’ that transcends ‘the speculation of journalists, historians and others whose conclusions are often either misinformed or only tease around the edges.’

Waxing lyrical about his co-writer, Tom says: “It was (Peter Lavenda’s) ability to frame an esoteric thesis that gave me the ammunition to speak clearly on the subject matter, and that got me in the door.”

Peter Lavenda said: “Sekret Machines: Gods is the opening salvo on the complacency of human institutions where the UFO Phenomenon is concerned. It’s designed to shake people up, to make them question their assumptions.”

It’s not Tom’s first foray into writing about aliens. Last year he released a fiction book called ‘Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows’ that he co-penned with writer AJ Hartley.

‘Sekret Machines: Gods’ is the first of a trilogy and will be followed by ‘Sekret Machines: Man’ and ‘Sekret Machines: War’.

Last October, Tom hit the headlines when leaked emails from Hillary Clinton's US election campaign team showed that he contacted an advisor on the subject of UFOs.

Among the plethora of emails released by WikiLeaks were at least two messages from DeLonge to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta about the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects and extra-terrestrial life.
