Foo Fighters To Announce 'Big News' on Monday (11th August)

Foo Fighters have confirmed they’re announcing some “big news” this coming Monday (11th August).

Titillating their millions of fans, the rock giants wrote on their Facebook page: “Ladies and Gents...keep an eye out here for some big news coming on Monday...”

Widely expected to be details of their eighth studio album, scheduled for release this autumn, there’s also a slim possibility the announcement could be worldwide tour dates. Who knows?!

The announcement of the announcement comes a week after legendary producer Butch Vig tweeted:

Foo Fighters’ HBO documentary ‘Sonic Highways’, which follows the recording process of the album in eight different US cities, makes its debut Stateside on 17th October.

“Not only the making of our most ambitious album, #SonicHighways is a love letter to the history of American music,” the band wrote on their Facebook page.

Dave Grohl and co. are set to headline the Invictus Games Closing Concert at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 14th September.

The event celebrates the Prince Harry launched sporting event for wounded servicemen and women and will include the presentation of medals to the winning competitors.
