Currently in the midst of a sprawling sold-out UK tour, Frank Turner has announced seven fresh shows for early next year.

The folk-punk singer-songwriter and his band The Sleeping Souls will play massive dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Bournemouth, Cardiff and London in late January and February 2019.

Tickets to Frank’s new headline tour go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 27th April.

The shows support Frank’s new album ‘Be More Kind’, released on Friday 4th May, which has spawned the singles ‘1933, ‘Blackout’, ‘Be More Kind’ and the recently unveiled ‘Make America Great Again’.

‘Be More Kind’ was inspired by a Clive James poem called Leçons Des Ténèbres, which includes the line: ‘I should have been more kind. It is my fate. To find this out, but find it out too late.’

Frank says: “It devastated me the first time I read it. A lot of older, wiser people tend to say things like that, that the things that come out in the wash at the end of a human life are the way you treated the people around you. In the modern world, that’s a lesson that all of us, myself included could do to learn.”
