Funeral for a Friend to mark 20th anniversary of debut album on October 2023 UK tour
They play seven shows this autumn
Welsh rock icons Funeral for a Friend will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation’ on a new headline UK tour this autumn.
Opening at Manchester O2 Victoria Warehouse on Saturday 7th October, the tour visits Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich and Cardiff before concluding at London Roundhouse on Sunday 15th October.
The special guests at all seven shows will be Dashboard Confessional.
Tickets to Funeral for a Friend’s UK tour go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 10th March.
Originally released on 13th October 2003, ‘Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation’ spawned the breakthrough singles ‘Juneau’ and ‘She Drove Me to Daytime TV’ and it sold over 100,000 copies in the UK.
Commenting on the tour, Funeral for a Friend said: “It feels pretty surreal to be celebrating 20 years of ‘Casually Dressed…’ already, but we’re looking forward to diving back into the record that changed everything for us, and to performing it front to back across the UK in October.”
Ahead of their UK tour, Funeral For A Friend will be performing at a series of European festivals this summer.
