Pennsylvanian hard rockers Halestorm have lined up seven UK shows for later this year.

Part of a larger European trek that takes in over a dozen countries including Ireland, the band will play dates in Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Bristol in September.

In an exclamation mark strewn statement, Halestorm said: “Hello UK Freaks!! We are so excited to return to you with our biggest headlining tour ever!

“And we are beyond pumped to finally get to perform at the legendary Brixton Academy, one of the places that has been on our rock n roll bucket list forever! Can’t wait to see all of you there!”

Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at midday on Friday 9th March.

Halestorm have recently been holed up in the studio in Nashville, working on their fourth studio album with producer Nick Raskulinecz. The follow-up to 2015’s ‘Into the Wild Life’ is due to be released in the summer.

Lzzy Hale told Billboard the album is "very rock”, adding: “It's definitely a step forward for us. I think you're really going to see something that comes from all four corners of Halestorm, what each of us brings to the table and just how important all four pillars are in this band.

“We're really pumped about having something new, and I just hope everyone likes it - and, regardless, we're stoked on it."

One new song from the record entitled ‘Black Vultures’ was debuted on Halestorm’s North American tour with Stone Sour in January and February.
