Paramore’s Hayley Williams has revealed the release date for her first music with her solo project Petals for Armor.

Back on 27th December, Hayley marked her 31st birthday by telling her legions of fans she’s embarking on a solo venture in 2020.

“Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 30 was a very important year. 31 will be too,” Hayley posted on Twitter.

She added: “I’m putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January.”

Hayley launched a Petals for Armor Instagram account under the radar in October and has been posting a series of curious images of flower petals and, more recently, blank black squares that were also uploaded to Hayley’s personal Instagram page.

Petals for Amore, of course, is a spin on the name of Hayley’s band Paramore.

Last night (6th January) a short video clip was uploaded to coincide with the launch of the Petals for Armor website.

The clip features audio of heavy breathing alongside footage of an eerie forest at nighttime under a moonlit sky. The short video ends with the numbers 1.22.2020 – 22nd January 2020, the release date for the first piece of solo music from Hayley.

Very little else is known about the project, however a Petals for Amor poster was spotted by a fan in New York City yesterday featuring an image of Hayley.

Paramore's last studio album, 'After Laughter', was released in May 2017.
