All Day I Dream About Sofas: let Korn’s Head give you a tour of a local furniture shop

If your life isn’t quite peachy enough, follow the leader and ‘Head’ down to Furniture City. Take a look in the mirror, then try a sofa whose comfiness hopefully won’t result in the serenity of suffering. And keep hold of your receipt in case of any issues.

Now that’s out of our system, here’s Korn guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch in one of the oddest promotional pair-ups you’ve ever seen.

The nu-metal veteran – who once cut one of the most expensive rock and metal albums ever made with 2002's ‘Untouchables’ – can be seen giving a guided tour of an mind-bogglingly garish furniture shop in his hometown of Bakersfield.

During the tour Head tries out a four-poster bed, marvels at a massive chandelier and tests a couch that apparently reminds him of Las Vegas.

“But the thing I like about Furniture City is that Vegas will break the bank. Furniture City will not,” he says, delivering the line as smooth as an informercial pro.

At one point he stops to express his amazement at the sheer size and scope of Furniture City, telling the viewer: "This is the gallery. I thought the store ended a mile ago and then you come back here and you have the gallery section. It's just pure luxury. It's so beautiful."

Beauty clearly is in the eye of the beholder...
