Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst directing movie starring John Travolta

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is directing a film starring Hollywood big-hitter John Travolta.
As Variety reports, the movie is called Moose and it’s partially inspired by Durst’s real life experience with a fan who the singer claims stalked him years ago.
Moose was written by Durst with Dave Bekerman, and John Travolta playing the titular character who is a rabidly obsessed fan of his favourite all-action movie star, portrayed by Devon Sawa.
With Moose’s fixation getting more and more intense, he seeks to destroy the movie star’s life and starts stalking him.
Ambi Pictures and Media Finance Capital, principal film is currently underway on Moose in Alabama.
It’s not the first time Durst has directed; he previously helmed the feature films The Education of Charlie Banks (starring Jesse Eisenberg) and The Longshots (starring Ice Cube).
With Durst’s time now consumed by another project, the big question is when Limp Bizkit’s long-gestating sixth studio album ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ will see the light of day.
Asked by NME about the progress of the album last October, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland said: “I did what I was going to do on it over the past few years, and I think Fred’s just trying to figure out what he wants to do.
“I know he’s in a studio working on it right now, but I’m not sure what he’s doing. I’m basically waiting for him to finish something so that I can take it and starting mixing and editing it into whatever it’s going to be.
“We did so many sessions – there’s 28 or 29 songs, and whatever he chooses out of that to do vocals on, I’ll take that and work on it at my house and turn it into a record.
