Marilyn Manson has revealed he’s feuding with Justin Bieber following an encounter in a bar.

Last year, Justin Bieber was photographed wearing a ‘Mechanical Animals’ era Manson T-shirt at a North American gig with the words ‘Bigger Than Satan: Bieber’ on the back.

Bieber hit the headlines when the t-shirt went on sale via his official website for a whopping £150 each.

Seemingly repaying the compliment, Manson later took to Instagram to post a selfie of himself wearing a Justin Bieber t-shirt along with the caption “Bigger than Bieber.”

Now, in a fresh interview with Billboard, Marilyn – who had previously posed for a selfie with Justin Bieber – says things turned sour between the pair when Bieber told him “I made you relevant again.”

Marilyn explains: “I ran into (Bieber) in some fancy bar where a lot of celebrities - a word that I despise - go. I saw a little girl in a pink hoodie with blond hair, and it turns out to be Bieber.

“I sit down, and I say, ‘Hey, so you wore my shirt and everything onstage.’ He was one of those touchy people that hit you when they talk, and he comes up to about d*** height. Then he goes, ‘I made you relevant again.’”

Outraged by Bieber’s claim, Marilyn explained that he decided to play a prank on the Canadian pop pipsqueak: “I reply, ‘That was a great idea you had about doing (my song) The Beautiful People at your show at Staples Center tomorrow.’

“And he goes, ‘Yeah, it was,’ not knowing that I told him an idea that I had just made up. His tour manager sat down, and I asked, ‘What time is sound check tomorrow? What time should I be there? Because we’re going to do Beautiful People.’ Obviously, when 4 p.m. rolled around the next day, I just didn’t show.”

Marilyn continued: “It was nice though that I didn’t have to sue his company for making the shirts that he wore with his name and my face on it.

“They were very much like, ‘We know we’re wrong here; just take as many dollars as you want.’ So it was a double ‘f*** you,’ but wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t said, ‘I made you relevant again.’”

Boasting the confrontational lead single ‘WE KNOW WHERE YOU F---ING LIVE’, Marilyn’s tenth studio album ‘Heaven Upside Down’ is released on Friday 6th October.
