Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has premiere the video to his gritty current single ‘Running From My Shadow’.

Featuring Grandson, ‘Running From My Shadow’ fuses crushing hip-hop beats with epic guitars as Mike dextrously raps caustic and claustrophobic lines about self-doubt and fear.

Mike sings in the chorus: "There are times when I kick myself/ Say I'm not sick but I can't get well/ Say I got this while I chase my tail/ As if they can't tell/ I'm running from shadow."

Following in the footsteps of singles ‘About You’, ‘Crossing a Line’ and ‘Nothing Makes Sense Anymore’, ‘Running From My Shadow’ is lifted from Mike Shinoda’s debut solo album ‘Post Traumatic’.

Also featuring guest appearances from Deftones' Chino Moreno, Machine Gun Kelly, K. Flay and Blackbear, the album is released on Friday 15th June.

Speaking about the album to ET Canada, Mike said: "It started in a really dark place. In the beginning, I wasn't leaving my house. It felt very claustrophobic, having lost one of my closest friends and collaborators. We associate who we are, to some degree, with what we do, so I felt very lost.

He added: "The experience of this last year has been crazy, and I wanted to put it into music, not only to just put a stamp on it and say, 'This happened,' but also to allow the fans and the people who have been along for the ride, to guide them on that journey in terms of keeping up with my narrative or understanding where I'm at."
