Nickelback cancel November 2015 UK tour

Chad Kroeger is still recovering from vocal surgery

Nickelback have cancelled their entire European No Fixed Address tour including their eight UK arena shows this November.

Back in June, the Canadian rockers axed the second leg of their North American tour as Chad went under the knife to have a cyst removed from his vocal cords.

Although his surgery was a success, doctors have now ordered Chad to rest until at least the end of 2015 to allow his vocal cords to heal completely.

It means that the European leg of the tour, which was due to start next month, has now been axed. Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase.

“We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road this fall, but Chad’s health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now,” the band said in a statement.

“With the proper amount of time, we hope to have him back stronger and better than ever before.

“We thank everyone for their support and understanding during this time and look forward to getting back out on the road and playing music for everyone again real soon.”

The cancelled UK shows are as follows:
