Pearl Jam announce their only UK show of 2020
They're headlining BST Hyde Park
Pearl Jam have been unveiled as the blockbuster headliners of American Express presents BST Hyde Park next summer.
The rock legends will headline the festival on Friday 10th July 2020 and the exclusive performance will be their only UK show of the year. The concert also marks their 30th anniversary as a band.
Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron will be joined by Pixies, White Reaper and more acts to be announced at Hyde Park.
Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Saturday 7th December.
Pearl Jam’s performance at BST Hyde Park is part of a 13-date European tour that also visits Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, France and Holland.
The tour marks Pearl Jam’s first performance in Frankfurt since 1992, Budapest since 1996 and Zurich since 2000.
Pearl Jam’s last UK shows took place at London’s The O2 in June and July 2018, while Eddie Vedder was the special guest at The Who’s Wembley Stadium show last summer.
Following his solo set, Vedder also guested with The Who on a version of the Quadrophenia classic ‘The Punk and the Godfather’.
