Lifted from their second album

Rap-rock supergroup Prophets of Rage have unleashed a brand new song called ‘Made With Hate’.

As we’ve come to expect from the politically charged collective – aka Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Brad Wilks and Tim Commerford, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real - ‘Made With Hate’ is a typically hard-hitting tune for these turbulent times.

Chuck D says of the track: “As with many songs Made With Hate was formed out of a conversation amongst ourselves about the level of passion fuel it takes to create.

“Especially when attacking something of hate. You must create the energy to hate ‘hate’. To have peace you have to despise hatred with a passion for peace and attack it. You can’t have hate take over anything especially history, so you have to fuel yourself to attack in thought word and deed with equal passion.”

‘Made With Hate’ is Prophets of Rage’s first new material since last year’s one-off single ‘Heart Afire’.

Speaking to Finland’s Kaaos TV last year, Tom Morello and Tim Commerford confirmed work on their second studio album was complete.

Commerford said of the LP’s sound: "It's a different direction, it's not the same, and I love that... We're growing and we're creating and we're going in a new territory and I feel really good about it."

Prophets of Rage play London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and Manchester Academy in August as part of a European tour.
