Red Hot Chili Peppers are the latest big name stars to appear on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke – and it’s a memorable episode to say the least.

The 15-minute clip, which featured on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, sees Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer traverse the streets of Los Angeles in Corden's 4x4 as they belt out their greatest hits.

Alongside RHCP staples 'Californication', 'Under the Bridge', 'By the Way', ‘The Zephyr Song’ and ‘Don’t Stop’ (which bizarrely goes into an a cappella version of ‘Food Glorious Food’ from Oliver) the band debut a previously unheard song called ‘Heemi Lheemey’ that they claim they wrote while high as teenagers.

Other antics include Corden and Kiedis pulling over for a wrestle in a front garden and the pair taking their tops off alongside Flea towards the end of the ride.

Boasting the lead single ‘Dark Necessities’, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ eleventh studio album ‘The Getaway’ is released this coming Friday (17th June).

They headline Reading & Leeds Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
