Sonisphere Will Make UK Return In 2013

Sonisphere organiser Stuart Galbraith has spoken out for the first time since it was announced that the festival is returning to the UK in 2013. The 2012 event was cancelled earlier this year and, speaking to Kerrang! Radio, Galbriath has admitted that the line-up, which included Queen featuring Adam Lambert (pictured), Faith No More and Kiss, wasn't strong enough. He also says factors including the Olympics and Paralympics as well as the economic downturn didn't help. Sonisphere 2013 will be back at Knebworth sometime next summer. No bands or further details have been announced yet - organisers say they're hoping to confirm some news before Christmas. Kerrang!
