Following in the hallowed footsteps of Enter Shikari earlier this month, Floridian metal titans Trivium have taken on the mantle as Kerrang! Radio’s Heads of Music this coming Friday (22nd May).

More than two decades into their distinguished career, Trivium released their ninth studio album – the heavy metal opus ‘What the Dead Men Say’ – late last month and it was rightfully showered with adulation from fans and critics alike.

Featuring the Kerrang! Radio playlisted anthem ‘Catastrophist’, Trivium singer Matt Heafy says the album is the sound of “everything that is Trivium.” He explains: "On this album, one can hear the proper ingredients of past, present, and future Trivium. The Trivium sound is having everything the band does — on one album.

To celebrate the recent release of ‘What the Dead Men Say’, we’re paying homage to Trivium by featuring them in the spotlight all this week on Kerrang! Radio.

Then on Friday (22nd May), Trivium will be our guest Heads of Music ALL DAY from 7am until 6pm where they will be in control of the music playing some of their own searing songs and loads of their favourite tracks.

On top of this, they will be chatting about life in lockdown, revealing more about the making of ‘What the Dead Men Say’ and much, much more.
