WATCH: Architects unleash ‘Gone With The Wind’ video

The latest offshoot from ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us’

As excitement builds ahead of the release of their seventh studio album ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us’, Architects have unveiled another tantalising taster for the record.

After debuting the phenomenal ‘A Match Made in Heaven’ last month, the Brighton purveyors of top notch metalcore have dropped the video for ‘Gone With The Wind.’

A deliciously abrasive tour-de-force, Sam Carter sounds as urgent as ever as he delivers potent lyrics packed with venom and self-deprecation against a clamour of thunderous riffs and beats.

In keeping with the song’s opening lines (The weight of the world is resting on thin ice / When the surface breaks will I find paradise? / As I freeze to death, left to reflect / What a waste of time I was, in retrospect), the accompanying video sees Architects perform amidst a snowy abyss… wearing just t-shirts.

In our humble opinion, they’re really are crying out for some ‘Stay Another Day’-esque fury coats.

All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is released on Friday 27th May.
