Five Finger Death Punch vocalist Ivan Moody sensationally ‘quit’ the band live on stage last night (12th June) in Holland.

According to BD.nl, the set at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg was marred by tensions from the offset with the band performing the first two songs ‘Lift Me Up’ and ‘Never Enough’ without Moody.

The report says that the metallers disappeared off stage several times and appeared to be arguing amongst themselves. Guitarist Jason Hook spectacularly threw his guitar down in apparent frustration during ‘Burn MF’.

Watch the moment Jason slams his guitar into the stage:

Visibly not in the greatest of moods, Ivan Moody told the 3,000 capacity crowd: “There’s only one f---ing singer of Five Finger Death Punch, and I am (him).”

The disastrous 40-minute set came to a head when Moody announced he will no longer be fronting the band, saying: “I’ll let you know ahead of time — this is my last show with Five Finger Death Punch.”

Moody then proceeded to make a throat-slit motion on his neck.

At the end of the gig, Moody walked off before the end of the last song, waving to the crowd, whilst the rest of the band finished the track. After looking around in some bemusement, they stayed on stage to throw picks and drumsticks to the crowd.

After the show, guitarist Zoltan Bathory took to Twitter to address the debacle, writing:

Speaking to our own Johnny Doom at Download Festival just this weekend, Jason and Jeremy were seemingly reticent to talk about how things were going in the band. When Johnny raised Ivan's past behaviour, Jeremy pointed out "He's known to get in trouble from time to time", with Jason jokingly adding "It keeps it interesting".

The tensions couldn’t come at a worse time for the band as this morning they’ve just announced a European tour including four UK arena shows.

With support from Of Mice & Men, the band play the following dates:

DECEMBER 2017

Birmingham Barclaycard Arena – 17th

Glasgow SSE Hydro – 18th

Leeds Arena – 20th

London Wembley Arena – 21st

Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 16th June.
