WATCH: Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder performs ‘Corduroy’ with buskers outside baseball stadium
Pearl Jam frontman and baseball aficionado Eddie Vedder joined a pair of buskers for an impromptu jam on Friday night (15th September).
Eddie had just been to watch his beloved baseball team Chicago Cubs defeat St Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field when he walked past two street performers; a guitarist and drummer.
Seemingly buoyed by the result of the game, Eddie borrowed the guitarist’s instrument and proceeded to perform 1994 Pearl Jam anthem ‘Corduroy’ with the drummer.
As (poor quality) fan-filmed footage shows, despite Eddie’s status as a bona-fide rock icon status, most fans exiting the stadium walked past and the duo failed to attract a significant crowd.

Pearl Jam are releasing a documentary movie and album called ‘Let’s Play Two’ this autumn filmed at their Wrigley Field shows in August 2016.
The epic gigs took place during the Cubs’ historic World Series Championship season, which saw them storm to the title for the first time in 108 years in November.
Director Danny Clinch says of the film: “"In my films and photographs, I love to explore the relationship between a band, their fans and the location. When it happens that the main characters of your film are Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, their fans, and Wrigley Field during a historic moment, you know it's going to be epic.
“Our instincts were correct to follow the story. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you're ready for it."
The ‘Let’s Play Two’ album is released on Friday 29th September with the film landing on Friday 17th November. Watch the trailer here:
