Twenty One Pilots have performed their cover of the My Chemical Romance classic ‘Cancer’ live for the first time.

While on the smaller B stage midway through their sprawling 24-song set at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island last night (17th January), Tyler and Josh performed a stunning version of the track with the lights down low.

You can check out (slightly shaky) fan-filmed footage of the cover right here:

No stranger to cover versions, Twenty One Pilots regularly cover House of Pain’s ‘Jump Around’ and Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ in their live sets.

Last week, Pennsylvanian hard rockers Halestorm shared their cover of TØP’s ‘Suicide Squad’ soundtrack song ‘Heathens’ with the world.

The cover is part of a six-track EP entitled ‘ReAniMate 3.0: The CoVeRs eP’ that also proudly features Halestorm’s reworkings of Whitesnake’s ‘Still of The Night’, Metallica’s ‘Ride The Lightning’ and Soundgarden’s ‘Fell on Black Days’.
