Recently we heard the news that the classic Matilda is coming back to cinemas to mark its 20th anniversary, but it’s not just the film that’s celebrating a landmark birthday this year.
Remember Matilda’s best friend, Lavender? She was played by actress Kiami Davael who was 10 years old when the movie was released, and she’s just celebrated her 30th birthday this week!
She’s lost her spectacles, and isn’t so little any more, but we can still see a bit of that cool Lavender attitude:
It also turns out the pair are actually best friends in real life too! Kim often shares pictures with Mara Wilson who played Matilda, how lovely?!
