Whether we admit it or not, every TV judging panel needs a 'Mr or Mrs Nasty'. In the same way that Strictly Come Dancing would never be the same without Craig Revel Horwood, we cannot imagine a world where Jason Gardiner wasn't on the Dancing On Ice panel.

However, the King of Sass himself has revealed that this may well be a reality we have to live with fairly soon.

The Dancing On Ice team confirmed way back in January that there would definitely be another series of the show, despite the fact it had only been on air for a couple of weeks.

But Jason, who has appeared on every single series except one in 2012, has revealed to the Daily Star that he's not sure he'll be part of the team.

He said, "I know what this industry is like. You can never say it’s a sure thing.

"They have not spoken to me about next year. Oh God…who knows what will happen?

"At this point, I’m just making sure we get through this series and making it the best that we can.

"I have got a job ahead of me. But none of us knows where we are going to be next year."

This is NOT the sort of speculation we want to have to deal with, Jason. Our hearts just can't take it!

In other Dancing On Ice news, head judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean announced they would be performing during the final episode of the popular skating show. Although they haven't confirmed what music they will be performing to, there has been much speculation as to whether it will be their infamous 'Bolero', which won them an Olympic gold medal back in 1984.

Last weekend's episode also saw the amazing pop star Camila Cabello take to the stage, showing off her skills on her guitar. Camila, who has been enjoying a lot of solo success recently, performed her hit 'Never Be The Same' live on the show.
