Will Smith has expertly, and hilariously, parodied his son's music video on Instagram. The Hollywood superstar posted the short video which showed him copying his son's video exactly.

Will did this unusual video to mark Jaden's single 'Icon' getting 100 million streams on Spotify. He captioned the video, 'It is a Delicious Gift to a Parent to Admire his children. Keep Doin’ You!'. sic

In the video he can be seen wearing the 'same' clothes as his son, recreating the music video exactly, with the 'attitude' of a 19-year-old.

Although not released in the UK, Jaden's single 'Icon' reached number 3 in the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, which lists the top singles that have not yet charted on the main Billboard Hot 100. The official music video has also had over 42 million views on YouTube.

Whilst son Jaden is working on his music career, Will is continuing with his acting. In September last year he was confirmed to be playing the part of the Genie in the live-action remake of Aladdin, the character was previously voice-acted by the late Robin Williams in the 1992 animated film.

He posted the first photo from the live-action film captioned, 'I’m over here gettin my Genie on. Here we go!'. sic

Last year Will also appeared in a Carpool Karaoke episode which saw Will and James Corden singing Will's 1999 hit 'Gettin' Jiggy wit It' before they were joined by a brass band for the 'surround sound' feeling.

The pair then chatted about Will's rise to fame and how at the age of just 16 he had his first single 'Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble' with DJ Jazzy Jeff.
