Along with John Travolta mistaking a drag queen for Taylor Swift, another very memorable moment from the MTV VMAs 2019, was Cardi B picking up her first MTV VMA. The rapper, who's had hits such as 'I Like It' and 'Please Me' with Bruno Mars, picked up Best Hip Hop for her single 'Money', which reached the Top 10 in the US R'n'B chart.

Cardi B took to the microphone for her acceptance speech with a victorious laugh, then, thanking everyone involved in the making of her music videos, she told how she would tell her director to, "smooth her cellulite out"! Watch the moment below...

After winning the award, Cardi then told her fans on Twitter, 'MONEY MUSIC VIDEO I GAVE LOOKS,CHOREOGRAPHY AND A WHOLE LOTTA FAT ASS!'. sic

As well as winning her first MTV VMA, Cardi B was nominated in a number of categories, but lost out to Ariana Grande for Artist of the Year and the Jonas Brothers' 'Sucker', for Best Pop.

Cardi also presented the highly acclaimed the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, which was given to Missy Elliott this year.

Meanwhile, in the music world, fans are still waiting for Cardi B to drop her second album. The rapper released her debut album, 'Invasion of Privacy' in April 2018, and in an Instagram Live stream earlier this year, told her fans they could expect it this year.

"Of course, it’s going to be an album in 2019," she told her fans.

Continuing, "Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out. I don’t know how possible that’s going to be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy.

That gives Cardi just a few more months to drop her highly anticipated second album.
