Britain's Got Talent TV presenter Ant McPartlin has left rehab after a month at a private clinic, following his drink drive arrest in March.

The popular TV presenter returned to rehab last month to battle his drink and painkiller addictions, however, over the weekend he was seen taking his dog for a walk in a London park.

According to those who spotted him, he appeared in "high spirits" and looked remarkably different to earlier in the month when he appeared at court for his sentencing.

Following the news that Ant has left rehab many of his fans have been flocking to social media to support the I'm a Celebrity presenter. One fan said, 'Buzzing to hear @Ant_McPartlin is home from rehab and looking so well, hoping he keeps up the good work and back on our screens real soon #teamAnt😘', sic whilst another said, 'glad you are doing well. Hurry up and get back on screen!! You are missed...'.

One fan from the US sent Ant a supportive message saying, 'Hope you are well. Praying for you across the pond! @Ant_McPartlin'.

At present it isn't clear if Ant has left rehab completely, or if he was just taking some time out with his beloved pet.

Earlier this month Ant pleaded guilty to drink driving. In a letter read out in court, Ant said he "accepts full responsibility" and he let himself "and so many others down". As a result Ant was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months.

After his arrest on suspicion of drink driving, Ant stepped down from his TV presenting duties leaving his presenting partner to continue presenting Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway for the final two episodes without him.

Britain's Got Talent is currently being shown on Saturday nights on ITV. The pre-recorded shows contain footage of both Ant and Dec recorded during the audition stage of the competition.

However, earlier this month ITV confirmed that Dec will present the live shows of Britain's Got Talent alone. The statement from ITV read, "Dec will be hosting the live shows, which for the first time ever are coming from the Hammersmith Apollo, while Ant steps down from his TV commitments for now. We send Ant all our love. And we know that Dec will do a brilliant job."

Last week Stephen Mulhern also revealed that Ant would not be returning to TV this year, meaning he would miss I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, however ITV have yet to comment on this.
