Award-winning pop princess and all round MEGASTAR Ariana Grande has been wowing the crowd at Coachella 2019. The star had our jaws dropping during her performance in week one, as she brought *NSYNC, Diddy AND Nicki Minaj out on stage.

It appears one fan, however, may have got a little too zesty while watching the star perform, as a video on Twitter shows the star being shockingly pelted with a ripened lemon. Yes, you heard us right...

One fan took to Twitter to share an up-close view of the moment the 25-year-old got fruit-punched. We're guessing they mustn't have found her performance too...a-peal-ing?

As the 'God Is A Woman' singer ran off the stage, she shouted to the crown, "What the f--k? That’s because one of ya’ll thew a lemon at me! S--t!"

Now swipe to look at Ariana's complete dating history...

Ariana Grande and Graham Phillips (2008-2011)

Ariana and Graham met at 15 years old when they were both starring in the Broadway production of 13: The Musical. They dated for three years and released a song called Stick Around together in 2010. Ari continued the trend of duetting with partners later in her career, but more on that later.

Many fans are now claiming that the lemon was thrown by a Beyoncé fan, after news broke that Ariana was being paid double what she was in 2018 to perform at the event. Beyoncé headlined the festival last year.

Ariana's latest Coachella performance saw the star bring no other than 'Baby' legend Justin Bieber onto the stage, which was followed by an adorable Insta pic from the star captioned, 'Ari u are a class act @arianagrande' sic.

Don't worry Ari, we still think you're the zest! 🍋
