Cheryl Fernandez-Versini receives backlash from One Direction fans over Liam Payne romance
The singer received abuse on Twitter
After Liam Payne updated his profile picture to a loved up shot of himself and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, One Direction fans went wild at the Geordie beauty slamming her for the apparent romance.
Cheryl, who is 10 years older than Liam, received a harsh string of backlash from fans of the One Direction man on Twitter.
One fan took to Twitter to slam the singer for using Liam as a rebound after the breakdown of her second marriage.
Cheryl seemed to respond to the comments via her Instagram page. The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ singer seemed to sarcastically change her bio to read “When people hate on you, it’s because you’ve got something they want. All love. Good vibes only”. The singer then shortened the text to “… All love. Good vibes only."
Thankfully for Chezza, not everybody ridiculed her for the new romance, others seemed very happy for the new couple tweeting their support.
Cheryl split from her French husband Jean-Bernard back in December after their 19-month marriage, whilst Liam split from long term girlfriend Sophia Smith back in October last year.
