Cheryl’s divorce is officially finalised from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini
The pair were granted a quick divorce
Cheryl has finalised her divorce from French businessman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
The former X Factor judge was granted a ‘quickie divorce’ from Jean-Bernard and was handed a decree nisi at the Central Family Court in London earlier this morning (Thursday 20th October).
A statement released by Cheryl reads: “Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected."

A source close to the couple added, “This has been the result of months of negotiations, but Cheryl and JB reached an agreement two months ago. And there has been no financial settlement. Lots of wild figures have been thrown about, but that is the truth, as the documents will show.”
Cheryl and Jean-Bernard married in July 2014 after a whirlwind romance but later split in August last year, with reports suggesting the language barrier was an issue between the pair.
The news comes as rumours suggest Cheryl is expecting her first child with One Direction singer Liam Payne. The pair have been dating since February and according to Chery’s former colleague Louis Walsh, the Geordie girl is 'happier than ever'.

Fans have speculated in recent weeks if the pair are expecting a baby after Liam changed his Twitter bio to 'luckiest man in the world' and Cheryl then appeared at a L'Oréal event with a small ‘bump’.
The rumours were then taken to another level when Cheryl's mum Joan was spotted buying pregnancy goods in Mothercare.

The couple are yet to confirm or deny the pregnancy rumours but now Cheryl’s divorce is finalised they will be able to move on with their lives.
