Pop star Demi Lovato has returned to Instagram, after around a month away from the social media site, with a no make-up selfie where she looks amazing. The 'Sober' singer, has been gradually edging herself back into the limelight after she was admitted to hospital earlier this year.
News broke in July that Demi Lovato had been admitted to hospital with a suspected overdose. Now, after Demi has spent time in rehab, she has begun to post more on social media. And with her latest post, it just shows great Demi is looking now. Posing in her jiu jitsu gear she posted photo with the caption, 'Sweaty, messy jiu jitsu hair.. 😝💪🏻'.
Now, just a day after Demi posted the fresh-faced selfie, her photo has received 4.7 million likes and a thousands of comments. One fan wrote to the pop star, 'Demi😚💕💕You are really beautiful💋', with another saying, 'be you and be healthy!!'.
Months after Demi's overdose, her mum Dianna De La Garza, broke her silence about her daughter saying, "I was trying to be strong for her and for her sisters and for my family back home."
She continued, "I just feel like the reason she’s alive today is because of the millions of prayers that went up that day. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to save her life."
Dianna then recounted the moment she arrived at the hospital, "We ran into the emergency room to be by her side, and she just didn’t look good, at all. She was in bad shape, but I said to her, 'Demi, I’m here. I love you'.
"At that point, she said back to me, 'I love you too'. From that point on, I never allowed myself to ever think that things weren’t going to be OK."
Over recent years Demi has had huge success in the music industry, including her 2018 collaboration with Clean Bandit, 'Solo'. Not long after dropping the fantastic song, Clean Bandit dropped the official music video and it was an instant hit on YouTube, becoming the Number 3 trending video just a day after its release.
