Ariana Grande's brother Frankie shares heartbreaking tribute to Mac Miller

The music world was shocked and saddened on Friday 7th September after it was revealed that Mac Miller had been found dead. The rapper, who is best known for his hits 'Dang!' and 'What's The Use?', passed away last week of a suspected overdose at the age of 26.
The very next day, Ariana Grande - his ex-girlfriend - took to Instagram to post a tribute to the 'Weekend' hitmaker, who she was with for two years. Simply posting a black-and-white photo of her former partner of two years, Ariana chose not to write a caption.
Since news of Mac's death broke last week, tributes to the star have poured in from fans and celebrities alike, with many urging others who suffer from addictions to seek help.
Now, Ariana's brother, Frankie Grande, has taken to Instagram to share how devastated he is at the passing of Mac Miller - whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, revealing that he was instrumental in helping him through his own addiction struggles.
Sharing a photo of Mac on Instagram, Frankie - who appeared on the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 - wrote a touching caption which read, 'I am beyond heartbroken over Malcolm’s death. He was a good friend and was wonderful to my sister. He was the reason I went to the rehabilitation center where I was detoxed safely from all of the drugs alcohol and medications I was taking, when I couldn’t imagine living without them.
'It was the place where I found the community of support that showed me that living life without drugs was a possibility and I would never have discovered that if it weren’t for Malcolm.'
Sharing anecdotes of how Mac would celebrate with him after reaching milestones, Frankie went on to urge others to seek help, and sharing phone numbers of helplines.
Following the news of Mac's death, Ariana was forced to disable comments on her Instagram page after trolls left vile comments on her posts blaming her for his death.
However, Mac's close friend Shane Powers revealed on his podcast that she was "deeply helpful" and "effective" in keeping him sober, saying, "They were very much in love, and I have to say she was incredible when he was first sobering up.
"There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana. I saw that. I was around it."
