The Valerian trailer has just dropped giving us the chance to see Cara Delevingne and Rihanna in their latest acting roles.
Based on the popular graphic novel of the same name, the film stars Dane DeHaan and Cara as special operatives Valerian and Laureline. Working as a team they are in charge of maintaining order across the galaxy.

Exact information about the characters that Cara and Rihanna play is under wraps, however the plot sees Valerian and Laureline on a mission to the astonishing city of Alpha.
Known as the city of a thousand planets, Alpha has a mystery, dark force at its centre which Valerian and Laureline must identify, to safeguard the future of the universe.

Known for his popular films The Fifth Element, Leon and Lucy, legendary director Luc Besson picked up a gong last week. Luc was given the Empire Inspiration Award at the Empire Awards held in London.
Valerian will be released on the 4th August 2017.
