Ed Sheeran tends to do numbers with every release. This year saw the release of 'Divide' with the singles ‘Castle on the Hill’, ‘Shape of You’, and 'Perfect' which have all topped the charts.

These five songs might blow your mind as they were all written or co-written by Ed:

1. Justin Bieber – ‘Love Yourself’

The fourth single from his fourth album 'Purpose' had co-writing assistance from Sheeran. Now we need to know who wrote 'my mama don't like you, she likes everyone' .

2. Major Lazer - Cold Water (feat. Justin Bieber & MØ)

One of 2016's summer bangers. He can't take full responsibility though as there are seven songwriters credited in the mix.

3. One Direction – ‘Little Things’

This was the groups second ever number one single all thanks to Sheeran. However, apparently Ed's management weren't happy that he'd given the song away.

4. Jessie Ware - Say You Love Me

Sheeran co-wrote 'Say You Love Me' with Jessie Ware for her second album.

5. Olly Murs - Love Shine Down

He reached out for this one on his 2010 self-titled debut album. Dan Smith of Bastille also has a writing credit, with Jessie J on backing vocals.
