The Chainsmokers have dropped some brand new music. The Duo have shared track ‘The One’ and it’s pretty emosh. After dropping hit after hit the boys are slowing things down with their latest offering. As the band’s lead singer Drew Taggart sings: ‘down and down we go. And we’ll torch this place we know. Before one of us takes a chance. And break this, I won’t be the one. No I won’t be the one.’

The boys asked their fans what they thought of the track, tweeting 'just put out our first ballad, we were so excited to show you it. What do you think about it pack?'

‘The One’ is the opening track from The Chainsmokers’s debut album ‘Memories… Do Not Open’, which is set for release on 7th April. The boys shared the tracklist for the album this month.

‘Memories… Do Not Open’ will be 12 tracks long and include their number one singles with 'Something Just Like This' with Coldplay and 'Paris'. However, surprisingly it doesn't include their 2016 hit 'Closer' featuring Halsey or 'Don't Let Me Down' featuring Daya

The album features a number of collaborations including 'Don't Say' featuring Emily Warren, whose voice is also (uncredited) on 'Paris'. Emily has worked with the DJ duo for a while now having also co-written of 'Don't Let Me Down'.
