Coachella 2018 announced and Beyonce’s headlining

Coachella 2017 only just wrapped up a few weeks ago but the dates are already set for next year’s festival.

Coachella has announced it will place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th April and Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April 2018.

Unlike previous years, one of the year’s headliners is already set. According to Billboard, Beyonce will headline the festival in the Californian desert. The singer was originally billed the headline Coachella 2017 put was forced to pull out as she was heavily pregnant with twins.

A statement from Beyonce’s representatives back in February said: “Following advice of doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are please to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

Lady Gaga replaced Beyonce as the Saturday night headliner at this year’s festival.
