Drake sort of ‘did a Beyoncé’ and dropped a 17-track mixtape out of the blue on Thursday night.
If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, followed Drake’s short arthouse film Jungle, which appeared the day before, and basically sent the HipHop fans crazy.
After listening, we suspect that IYRTITL is a mixtape as opposed to an official studio album, but there has been no exact confirmation either way from the man himself. We could still get his rumoured fourth studio album, Views from the 6. You never know!
Along with the project, Drake shared a handwritten notededicating the tape to a long list of people including a mention for ‘Nicole that used to come see me in my Mom’s basement’.
He also thanked UK MC, Skepta, Madonna and Ginuwine, among others.
