Ellie Goulding’s hit single ‘Love Me Like You Do’ has officially become the most streamed track in a single week worldwide, ever.

The song, which appears on the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' soundtrack, has gained an enormous 15,468,762 streams, breaking the record previously held by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’.

“The love for my new song ‘Love Me Like You Do’ is on an immense scale,” said Ellie. “It’s very hard to take it all in. It means the world to me.”

The Max Martin-produced track has hit No. 1 on iTunes in 63 different territories, including the US.

So far it has achieved sales of over 1.2 million, with 58 million video views.

Ellie Goulding is currently working on her third studio album, which will follow up 2012’s Halcyon.
