He admitted he had been arrogant and conceited over the past year and a half

Justin Bieber has apologised for his recent ‘arrogant’ and ‘conceited’ behaviour.

In a video shared with fans, he expressed his heartfelt apologies for the way he has acted over the past year or so.

So why now? Well, straight after his first TV appearance for the first time in a year, he sent out a Tweet thanking Ellen for having him and apologising for being so nervous.

As an explanation for those nerves, Bieber said in the video:

“I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now. It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited, or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half.”

In the video, which appears to have been filmed on a phone in the dark, Bieber also admitted that he had been pretending to be something he is not and wanted people to know the real Justin.

“I felt awkward up there” he said. “I felt like people were judging me and I really want people to know how much I care…”
