Justin Bieber has sold his share of the music rights to his 290-song body of music. The 'Sorry' hitmaker, who released his sixth album 'Justice' in 2021, has not publicly commented on the deal yet, but many sources are reporting that he received an alleged $200 million from Hipgnosis Songs Capital.

This means that the group now own Justin's share in any of his songs written before 31st December 2021 - including his writer's share - which means that they'll earn any money from public plays of the tracks instead of him.

Justin joins a growing number of artists who are selling the rights to their music for big cash payouts, with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Shakira reportedly involved in deals to sell their rights.

David Guetta, The Weeknd and Drake have all also allegedly sold some of their rights, with many other older artists doing the same.
