Kanye West: Beck should have given his Grammy to Beyonce
He almost recreated his infamous Taylor Swift incident
Kanye West has voiced his disapproval at Beck winning a Grammy for Album of the Year, claiming it should have been given to Beyonce.
Beck won the award for his rock-based album ‘Morning Phase’, beating Beyonce’s self-titled album to the prestigious award.

Similar to his infamous Taylor Swift incident at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009, Kanye West attempted to rush the stage during Beck’s acceptance speech but decided against it at the last minute.
However in a post-Grammys interview with E! the rapper said: “The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us.
“We ain’t gonna play with them no more. ‘Flawless', Beyonce video. Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce, and at this point we tired of it.
“Because what happens is, when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in their face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration.”
The 57th Annual Grammy Awards took place last night (8th February) and will be aired on 4Music at 9pm tonight (9th February).
