After weeks of teases, former One Direction singer Liam Payne has finally dropped his brand new single 'Familiar' featuring Colombian singer J Balvin.

The single, which was released today (Friday 20th April), has a VERY summer feel to it, along with a Latino vibe and catchy lyrics.

With lyrics like, "It's simple, you dip low. your hips roll, you do the Calypso. An intro is all that I need, oh, yeah," fans can't get enough of the new track.

Liam announced his single was available to stream on his social media accounts this morning. Sharing a short video of himself and J Balvin looking very similar, the pair said, "Our new single is out now, does this not look 'Familiar'?"

Liam's new single is his fifth release since going solo last year.

Liam, along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, decided to take a hiatus from One Direction in 2016, with all four boys going solo.

The 24-year-old has since released massive hits such as 'Strip That Down', 'Get Low' and 'Bedroom Floor', so he will be hoping his new single with J Balvin will achieve the same success.

This isn't Liam's only collaboration of the year, the singer teamed up with Rita Ora to record the lead single from the Fifty Shade Freed soundtrack earlier this year. 'For You' was a massive hit around the world, with Liam and Rita performing it live at the BRIT Awards back in February.

Although Liam and J Balvin are yet to release a video for their new single 'Familiar', you can hear the track on the KISS playlist.
