Some Little Mix fans reckon Perrie Edwards threw some MAJOR shade at her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik’s current squeeze Gigi Hadid.
Perrie was performing with her Little Mix girls over the weekend as their ‘Glory Days’ tour arrived in New Zealand. The girl’s performed their hit ‘Shout Out To My Ex’, which is said to be inspired by Zayn, when Perrie apparently decided to get creative with the songs’ lyrics.
Instead of singing the songs’ usual lyrics ‘hope she ain’t faking it like I did’, Perrie changed the lyrics to ‘hope she ain’t faking it like Hadid’. Which prompted bandmate Jade Thirlwall to hysterically laugh.
Perrie and Gigi’s fans have since been arguing in the comments section of Perrie’s Instagram, with one writing 'She can't get over Zayn. Like literally has a boyfriend why don't she marry him tf. Leave my Zayn alone. He moved on.' While others defended Perrie, writing ‘ughh she didn't even said "Hadid" she said " I did" she always sing it like that plus jade laughed because Perrie's voice cracked omg leave her alone she doesn't care about you or Gigi.’ sic
Zayn called off his four year relationship to Perrie in August 2015, apparently dumping her over text.
