The visuals have landed for Major Lazer, PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj’s collab ‘Run Up’.
In the video, PARTYNEXTDOOR turns up at Major Lazer’s house party but everyone is glued to their phones. But that doesn’t stop them showing off their dance moves.
Nicki FaceTimes into the party, cue a lesson in how to twerk whilst holding a phone.
The directors said of the video: “the idea was to laugh at ourselves and the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones”. They added,“Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”
