The track will be the first new music from Sam in two years. His last release was 2015 ‘Writing’s on the Wall’ which featured on the soundtrack for the James Bond film Spectre.

The album won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2015 GRAMMY Awards and British Breakthrough Artist and Global Success Award at 2015’s BRIT Awards.

A few days ago Sam thanked his fans for their patience in waiting for his new music. Posting on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, Sam wrote ‘To my beautiful fans. First of all I want to say thank you. Thank you for being so patient and letting me have the past year to really escape into my mind and write music so freely. I feel so rejuvenated and have so many stories I can’t wait to tell you.’

Sam continued: ‘I have missed you all desperately, and a day hasn’t gone by when I haven’t been looking at your comments and dreaming of singing with you all again.’

Sam’s been sharing photos of him in the studio in the last few months. ‘To Good At Goodbyes’ is out on Friday 8th September.
